NIRF Adds Agriculture and Allied Sectors Category

According to the updates National Institutional Ranking Framework NIRF has added the Agriculture and Allied Sectors Category. In the notice, it has been mentioned that the NIRF has added the new Category Agriculture and Allied Sectors. Those institutes that are willing to participate can register under this category.

NIRF also added new category under the name Research Institution Last year. Ministry of Education has also renamed the Architecture discipline as Architecture and Planning. Every Year NIRF makes changes in the categories either they make changes in the existing categories or they add new categories.

Application of NIRF Ranking 2023



The National Institutional Ranking Framework has started the registration window for institutions and colleges to choose their selected category and participate in the NIRF Ranking 2023. According to the Official Notice, All the Institutions which have participated in the previous India Ranking exercise have been pre-registered. A mail regarding this has already been sent to the Heads of the respective Institutions to confirm Institution details for India Rankings 2023.

If any Institute has not registered for some reason and now wants to participate in the NIRF Ranking 2023. The Institution will have to submit the application at the official website of NIRF.

NIRF RANKINGS



NIRF Ranking was launched in 2015 by the Ministry of Education MOE to rank Indian Colleges and Universities based on the objective criteria of NIRF in order to promote competitive excellence.

Parameter of NIRF RANKING



NIRF Ranking of the educational Institutes are set different parameters such as teaching, learning, research, resources, and professional practices there are more parameters but for now, we will only stick to these. Overall rankings have been released for a total of 12 categories A total of 7,254 institutes took part in last year's rankings compared to 6,272 participants in 2021
