BSEB is India's First ISO-Certified Board with Triple Status!

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has achieved a huge milestone. It is now India’s first education board to get certified with three major ISO standards at once! This makes the Bihar Board a top leader in managing exams and data safely.

The new ISO certifications prove that the BSEB now runs a smooth, high-quality, and secure system for all students.

Three Global Standards Achieved

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a global body that sets rules for best practices. BSEB received certificates in three key areas:

1. Quality Management System (QMS): ISO 9001:2015. This means the board runs its processes well and always tries to improve. This ensures fast and reliable result announcements.
2. Information Security Management System (ISMS): ISO/IEC 27001:2022. This is a big win for data security. It protects student scores and personal data from cyber threats.
3. Records Management System (RMS): ISO 15489-1:2016. This confirms the board manages all past and present records properly and makes them easy to find.

This triple certification sets a new benchmark for other education boards, including national ones.

New Tech Secures Student Data

• The board uses online E-Office frameworks to track file movement digitally.
• Officials confirm they have digitized all Matric and Intermediate records from 1983 to 2025.
• The records are now integrated into secure systems.

Also, the BSEB built a state-of-the-art data center.  This center holds all student records and software securely. It has a massive 200 TB of storage capacity.
