The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the online registration for the Common University Entrance Test - Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026. This exam is the gateway for admission into various postgraduate programs at Central Universities and other participating institutions across India.

Simple Steps to Register for CUET PG 2026
The application must be submitted online through the NTA portal only.
- Visit the official website: exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.
- Click on the link under ‘Candidate Activity’ that says ‘Registration for CUET(PG)-2026.’
- Click ‘New Registration’ to start.
- Create an Account: Enter your full name, mobile number, and other details for online registration. You will receive an Application Number and password.
- Fill the Application Form: Log in with your credentials and complete the detailed application form.
- Upload Documents: Upload the required scanned photograph and signature.
- Pay Examination Fee: Pay the fee online. The fee is based on your category and the number of test papers chosen (up to two test papers: ₹1,400 for General; ₹1,200 for Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL, etc.).
- Final Submission: Save and download the Confirmation Page for your records.

Eligibility Criteria for CUET PG 2026
The NTA has kept the general eligibility broad, but always check the specific requirements of your desired university.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates who have passed a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent examination) from a recognized University. OR
- Candidates who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree and are appearing in the Final Year (or equivalent examination) in 2026.
- Age Limit: There is NO age limit to appear for the CUET (PG) 2026 examination.
- Minimum Marks: The minimum marks required are determined by the individual participating University and their respective course policies.
Important Note: The NTA CUET PG will be conducted for 157 subjects, including courses like General MBA (COQP12), M.A. History, M.Sc. Chemistry, etc. Please download the official Information Bulletin from the NTA website to check the complete list of subjects and their corresponding test paper codes.
