To ensure a successful submission before the portal deactivates, candidates should follow a structured process. The VITEEE application fee is set at ₹1,350 for all categories within India, while international applicants are required to pay the equivalent of USD 90.

VITEEE 2026 Revised Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The 2026 session introduces a significant change in the VITEEE exam pattern. For the first time, the institute has implemented a negative marking system to discourage guesswork and reward academic precision.
Total Questions: 125 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Total Marks: 500 (each correct answer carries +4 marks).
Negative Marking: -1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
Sections: Mathematics/Biology (40), Physics (35), Chemistry (35), Aptitude (10), and English (5).
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Before the final submission, candidates must verify that they meet the VITEEE eligibility criteria. Aspirants should have been born on or after July 1, 2005, as per the official age limit guidelines. Academically, a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the Class 12 board exams is mandatory. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories or those from the North Eastern states and Jammu & Kashmir, the minimum requirement is relaxed to 50% aggregate.
Important Dates and Examination Schedule
The VITEEE 2026 Exam Date is scheduled from April 28 to May 3, 2026. Following the close of registration tonight, the board will open the slot booking facility in the second week of April. During this phase, registered students can choose their preferred exam date and timing. The VITEEE Result 2026 is expected to be announced in the second week of May, immediately followed by the online counseling process for seat allotment across the four campuses.
