Uttarakhand Schools Are Reopening From August 2

The state government Uttarakhand has decided to reopen schools on August 2, 2021 for students in classes 6 to 12. For a long time due to the COVID-19 epidemic and given the number of cases of COVID- 19 the schools were closed as per issued orders. The decision to resume classes for students was made in a meeting with Uttarakhand State Cabinet Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Cabinet Minister and State Government Spokesperson Subodh Anil.

According to media reports, the state government will issue the COVID-19 protocol and standard operating procedures for schools, and schools across the state have been instructed to strictly follow all guidelines. Online classes will continue for students to continue teaching in Uttarakhand schools. Students are not required to attend classes offline and students attending classes will be required to present a parental consent letter.

The state government has directed Students, staff members, and teachers are asked to follow all instructions, including wearing signs, cleaning their hands at intervals, and maintaining a social distance while on campus. Students with symptoms of fever, cough, cold, etc. they will not be able to attend classes on campus.
