UP Board Compartment & Improvement Exams 2026 Schedule

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially announced the UP Board compartment and improvement exams 2026 schedule. Students who were unable to clear their mandatory subjects in the annual board examinations are eligible to appear for these papers, scheduled to commence on July 28, 2026.

Exam Timings and Structure

The UP Board exam schedule has been segregated into two distinct shifts to manage the volume of candidates effectively. High School (Class 10) improvement and compartment papers will be conducted during the morning session, from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM. Intermediate (Class 12) compartment exams are slated for the evening shift, commencing at 2:00 PM and concluding at 5:15 PM. These examinations will be held at designated centers under the supervision of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS).

Essential Guidelines for Candidates

To maintain the integrity of the examination process, the UPMSP board has implemented strict protocols. Candidates must adhere to the following directives:

Admit Card Requirement: Students must obtain their hall tickets, which will be downloaded and countersigned by their respective school principals from the official website.

Prohibited Items: Electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are strictly forbidden within the examination halls.

Reporting Time: Aspirants are strongly advised to arrive at their allotted examination center at least 45 minutes prior to the start time to facilitate orderly seating.

Secure Examination Environment

To ensure fairness, all examination venues will operate under 24/7 CCTV surveillance equipped with voice recording capabilities. Question paper storage and distribution will strictly follow the protocols established for the main annual examinations. Students are encouraged to prepare thoroughly and stay updated via the official portal for any additional notices regarding the UP Board result or future examination protocols.
