NTA PhD Entrance Exam 2023 Registration for DU JNU and BHU Started

Registration has been initiated by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the PhD entrance exam of the University of Delhi (DU), Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Prospective candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications for the entrance test through the official website: phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in. The deadline for application submission is September 8, 2023.

Starting from September 9, the NTA will provide a correction window for the NTA PhD Entrance Test 2023, which will remain open until September 11. Applicants will have the opportunity to make edits to their application forms during this period.



To be eligible for the PhD examination, candidates should have successfully completed their PG or QQ examinations or should be in the process of appearing for the 2023 aptitude test. Age is not a limiting factor, and individuals of all age groups are welcome to apply for the exam.

Pattern of NTA PhD Entrance Test 2023



The NTA PhD Entrance Test 2023 has a duration of 3 hours. The examination is divided into two sections. The initial section focuses on research methodology, while the subsequent section centers around the chosen subject area. The question paper comprises 100 multiple-choice questions.



In terms of the marking scheme, candidates receive 4 marks for each correct answer, and there is a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
