The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has officially opened the registration window for its Summer Internship Programme 2026. Selected students will have the opportunity to work on some of the country's largest national highway projects, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology and large-scale project execution.

Aspiring candidates must adhere to the following schedule to ensure their applications are processed. It is important to note that the application deadline is strictly enforced to facilitate the selection of nearly 500 interns nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria Across Disciplines
While the primary focus remains on infrastructure, the NHAI summer internship has been significantly expanded to include various technical and non-technical fields. Full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students from NIRF-ranked institutions and reputed colleges are encouraged to apply.
Eligible Academic Streams:
Engineering: Civil, IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, and Data Science/AI.
Management: MBA candidates specializing in HR, Finance, and Marketing.
Law: Students pursuing BA LLB or equivalent degrees.
Others: Commerce, Science (B.Sc/M.Sc), Mass Communication, and Library Science.
