The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences opened the selective edit window for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate application form on July 31, 2026. According to official notification guidelines, the selective correction facility remains active from July 31 through August 10, 2026. This dedicated edit phase is restricted exclusively to updating and replacing uploaded images that were flagged during verification. Candidates cannot alter personal, contact, or academic details during this period.

Candidates notified of document deficiencies must log in to their application dashboard using registered credentials. Officials specified that applicants must navigate to the Scrutiny tab on the dashboard to view specific flagged errors and upload fresh files adhering strictly to prescribed specifications.

Post-Correction Schedule and Requirements
The agency confirmed that no further opportunities to alter application images will be granted after August 10, 2026. Failure to rectify flagged images within the stipulated timeframe may result in application rejection.
Following the closure of the selective edit window, the board will release the test city intimation slip on August 11, 2026. Hall tickets containing full examination center details will be issued on August 27, 2026, ahead of the nationwide computer-based entrance examination scheduled for August 30, 2026.
