NEET PG 2025: SC Postpones Answer Key Plea Hearing

The NEET PG 2025 transparency plea hearing has been postponed by the Supreme Court of India, with the next session scheduled in two weeks. This delay follows petitions from aspirants demanding greater clarity in the NEET PG 2025 answer key and question paper, released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on August 29, 2025. The case, critical for over 2.42 lakh candidates, addresses concerns over the exam’s evaluation process.
The NBEMS issued the answer key with question IDs, but petitioners argue this format lacks transparency, as it prevents candidates from matching answers to specific questions. Aspirants are urging the release of the full NEET PG 2025 question paper to ensure verifiable results, citing ambiguity in the current disclosure method. The Supreme Court previously questioned the petitioners’ claims, asking if their concerns stemmed from lower marks, but acknowledged the need for a fair evaluation system.
This marks another postponement in a series of delays, with prior hearings deferred due to insufficient evidence or scheduling conflicts. The ongoing case, initially filed by 19 candidates, also challenges last-minute exam pattern changes and the normalization process for the single-shift, computer-based exam held on August 3, 2025, across 301 cities.
While the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats is expected soon from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the outcome of this hearing could impact the process. Candidates await a resolution to ensure fairness in this high-stakes exam for MD, MS, and PG diploma admissions. Stay updated for the latest developments.
