MBOSE Class 11 Practical Exam Postponed: New Date is December 15!

Students, pay attention! The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) changed the Class 11 Practical Exam date. The exam, originally set for December 12, now moves to December 15. This revision affects all MBOSE schools across the state.

Why Did MBOSE Change the Date?

The reason for the change is simple: a state holiday. The Meghalaya Government declared December 12 a public holiday. This day honors the death anniversary of Pa Togan Nengminja Sangma. He was a respected freedom fighter from the Garo Hills.

The holiday lets everyone observe this important event.

MBOSE shifted the date to ensure fair exam attendance.

The original date clashed with the state observance.

What Does This Mean for Students?

This date change is critical for all Class 11 students. The practical exams are a major part of your final assessment. You must note the new date to avoid missing the test.

First, mark December 15 clearly in your calendar.

Next, check with your school for specific timing details.

Schools manage the practical schedule locally.

Key Dates for Your MBOSE Exams

While the Class 11 practicals shifted, the Board also announced other important dates. Students in higher classes must also prepare their schedules now.

Here are the key Meghalaya Board Exams dates:

MBOSE Class 11 Practical Exams: December 15 (New Date)

MBOSE Class 10 Board Exams (SSLC): January 30 – February 11, 2026

MBOSE Class 12 Board Exams (HSSLC): February 18 – March 13, 2026

You must carry your hall ticket and ID to the exam hall. Arrive by 9:30 AM for the 10:00 AM start time. Stay in close touch with your school for any last-minute MBOSE updates. This change gives students a few extra study days. Use this time wisely.
