NEET PG 2024 Exam Fee Reduction 2024

NBEMS Reduces NEET PG 2024 Exam Fee, Bringing Relief to Aspiring Students In a welcome move, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has decided to alleviate the financial burden on NEET postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 aspirants by reducing the examination fee by Rs 750. This decision, effective for candidates submitting their application forms after January 1, 2024, aims to benefit a vast number of students preparing for these crucial examinations. NEET PG 2024 Exams Fee: Under the revised fee structure, candidates from the general and OBC categories will now pay Rs 3500, while SC, ST, and PWD students will contribute Rs 2500. This reduction is particularly noteworthy as it brings the fee back to levels lower than those seen in 2013. Previously, general and OBC applicants paid Rs 3750, which increased to Rs 4250 in 2021. Similarly, SC, ST, and PWD candidates saw their fee rise from Rs 2750 in 2013 to Rs 3250 in 2021. The dynamic fee structure for NEET PG 2024 reflects the commitment of NBEMS to support students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their pursuit of medical education. Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya played a pivotal role in this fee reduction, earning applause from students and medical associations alike. The president of NBEMS conveyed gratitude to the Union Minister, emphasizing that this decision was a collective effort aimed at benefitting lakhs of candidates participating in NBEMS examinations. The letter from NBEMS underscored the Minister's crucial inputs, acknowledging that such a significant fee reduction wouldn't have been possible without his involvement. In addition to the fee reduction, NBEMS reassured its commitment to enhancing the medical education landscape by providing specialist manpower, conducting high-quality examinations, and offering valuable training opportunities. As students welcome this relief, the move stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts to create a more accessible and supportive environment for aspiring medical professionals.
