NBEMS Releases Tentative Schedule for Upcoming Medical Exams 2026
New Delhi, December 29, 2025:
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially issued the tentative examination calendar for major medical and dental entrance and final examinations scheduled to be conducted between January and June 2026. The notice provides early guidance to candidates preparing for multiple national-level exams.
NBEMS Exams Scheduled from January to March 2026
According to the notification, the NBEMS Diploma Final Examination (December 2025 session) will be conducted on January 6, 7, and 8, 2026, with each paper scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The FMGE December 2025 examination is scheduled for January 17, 2026 (Saturday) and will be held in two sessions:
Paper I: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Paper II: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Other important exams include:
FDST-MDS 2025: February 21, 2026
FDST-BDS 2025: March 1, 2026
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2026: March 7, 2026
Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2026: March 14, 2026
Entrance and Final Exams Scheduled for April to June 2026
NBEMS has also outlined the tentative schedule for exams later in the year:
Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (PDCET) 2026: April 12, 2026
DrNB Final Examination (April 2026): April 24 to 26, 2026
NBEMS Diploma Final Examination (June 2026): May 14 to 16, 2026
DNB Final Examination (June 2026): June 18 to 21, 2026
FMGE June 2026: June 28, 2026 (two sessions)
Each examination will follow the time slots mentioned in the official notification, with most final exams scheduled in afternoon sessions.

NBEMS has clarified that all dates mentioned are tentative, except those already notified earlier on the official website. The final exam dates, eligibility criteria, and application timelines will be announced through individual Information Bulletins in due course.
