The application deadline for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) has been extended by the Council of Architecture. Candidates who missed the earlier deadline can now apply until April 13, 2023, by visiting the official website at nata.in. NATA is an entrance exam that is required for admission to BArch programs at participating institutions.

The first NATA test is scheduled for April 21, with the second and third tests scheduled for May 28 and July 9, respectively. The first session will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM as per the schedule, while the second session will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. You can check the exam schedule here.



NATA Eligibility Criteria 2023



To register for NATA 2023, only candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can proceed. The eligibility requirements can be found below:



Candidates who have passed their 10+2 exams with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or have completed a 10+3 diploma with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for NATA.



Candidates who are currently pursuing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics can also provisionally appear for the NATA exam.



How to Apply for NATA 2023



Candidates who have thoroughly reviewed the eligibility criteria can apply for the NATA exam by following the steps outlined below:



• Go to the official website, nata.in.

• Click on the "NATA registration 2023" tab located on the homepage.

• Complete the registration process.

• Log in using the necessary credentials.

• Upload the required documents and pay the fee.

• Print out the application for future reference.



NATA Exam Pattern 2023



The NATA aptitude test can comprise of various types of questions such as multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-selection (MSQ), preferential choice (PCQ), numerical answer (NAQ), and match-the-answer questions (MFQ).



Candidates are required to attempt 125 questions within a time limit of 180 minutes. Each question carries either 1 mark, 2 marks, or 3 marks. The medium of the aptitude test will be primarily English, although there might be some questions in regional languages.
