MCC NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule Expected Soon

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the official MCC NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule shortly on its primary portal, mcc.nic.in. Following the declaration of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test results, qualified candidates are preparing for the seat allocation process across nationwide medical institutions.
According to preliminary estimates by education officials, registration for Round 1 of counselling is expected to commence in early August 2026. The centralized online allocation procedure will govern admissions for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), as well as 100% of seats at Central Universities, Deemed Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and ESIC medical institutes.
Four-Round Allotment Structure and Registration Fees
The committee will conduct the centralized process across four distinct phases: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and a final Stray Vacancy Round. To participate in the allocation exercise, candidates must register online, select their preferred course and college options, and lock their choices before the designated deadlines.

Mandatory Documents for Verification
Candidates who receive a provisional seat allotment letter must report physically to their designated college for document verification and admission confirmation. Admissions officers at participating institutes will inspect both original records and self-attested photocopies.
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card and official Scorecard or Rank Letter.
- Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate (serving as proof of date of birth).
- Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate.
- Valid, non-expired government-issued photo identification (such as Aadhaar Card or Passport).
- Passport-size photographs (matching those submitted in the initial application).
- Provisional Seat Allotment Letter generated from the portal.
- Category or Disability Certificates (applicable for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwBD candidates).
