Maharashtra NEET UG Merit List 2026 Released Today
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially released the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 Provisional Merit List and the Registered Candidate List for Group A today, August 18, 2026. Aspiring medical students participating in the state counselling process for MBBS and BDS courses can now access the list on the official website.
This publication marks a critical milestone in the state’s medical admission timeline, determining the eligibility of candidates for the upcoming Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds.
How to Download the Merit List
Candidates can download the merit list in PDF format by following these steps:
Visit the official Maharashtra CET Cell website.
Navigate to the 'NEET UG' section.
Click on the link designated for the merit list.
Download and save the PDF document for your records.
Note: The provisional merit list serves as a reference for eligibility and does not constitute a final seat allotment result.
Grievance Redressal and Final Merit List
Candidates who identify discrepancies in the provisional list have a designated window to address them. Grievances must be submitted between August 19 and August 20, 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). Applicants must provide necessary supportive documentary proof to substantiate any requested corrections; requests without documentation will not be processed.
Following this review period, the Final Merit List for Group A will be published on August 21, 2026, alongside the Seat Matrix.
Important Upcoming Dates for CAP Round 1
Following the publication of the final merit list, the admission process will proceed according to the following schedule:
Choice/Preference Filling: August 22 to August 24, 2026 (until 5:30 PM).
Declaration of CAP Round 1 Allotment: August 25, 2026.
Physical Joining: Allotted candidates must report to their assigned colleges with original documents and fees via Demand Draft (DD) between August 26 and August 30, 2026 (until 5:30 PM).
Candidates are advised to monitor the official CET Cell portal regularly for updates, as failure to adhere to documentation or reporting deadlines may result in the cancellation of admission.
