Important Dates for Scorecard Download
While the results and ranks are live as of today, candidates should note that the official UCEED 2026 scorecard—which is required for the counseling process—will be available for download starting March 10, 2026.
It is important to download and print the scorecard before the deadline (typically mid-June), as it will not be available for retrieval later. This document will contain the Part-A marks, Part-B marks (for qualified candidates), and the All India Rank (AIR).
What’s Next: B.Des Admissions 2026 and Counseling
Securing a rank is only the first step. The UCEED B.Des Admissions 2026 cycle will move into the Joint Seat Allocation process soon. Qualified candidates must participate in the counseling rounds where they will submit their institute preferences.
Participating Institutes for 2026:
- IIT Bombay (Industrial Design Centre)
- IIT Delhi (Department of Design)
- IIT Guwahati (Department of Design)
- IIT Hyderabad (Department of Design)
- IIITDM Jabalpur
Apart from these primary institutes, several 'Result Sharing Institutes' will also accept UCEED 2026 scores for their own B.Des admissions, providing a wide array of options for successful candidates.
Competition and Cut-offs
Initial reports suggest a highly competitive year, with the mean deviation in Part-A scores reflecting a challenging paper. If you have qualified, keep a close watch on the official portal for the release of the Opening and Closing Ranks for the first round of seat allotment, which is expected to begin in early April.
