The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has officially postponed the HBSE Class 12 Special Marks Improvement Examination 2026 scheduled for the January session. As per the latest notification issued by the board, the examination will now commence from January 21, 2026, instead of the earlier announced date of January 6, 2026.

According to board officials, the updated date sheet for the Senior Secondary (Academic and Haryana Open School) improvement exams will be published soon on the official website bseh.org.in. Students are advised to keep checking the portal regularly for the latest updates regarding exam dates and admit cards.
Who Is Eligible for the Improvement Exam?
The HBSE Class 12 Improvement Examination is conducted for:
Regular Senior Secondary (Academic) students
Haryana Open School (HOS) candidates
who wish to improve their marks in one or more subjects.

In its public notice, BSEH stated that the decision to postpone the exam was taken due to administrative reasons. The board confirmed that all other examination-related instructions will remain unchanged, and the new schedule will be communicated well in advance.

Candidates appearing in the HBSE 12th Improvement Exam 2026 must strictly follow these instructions:
Carry a valid admit card with an attested photograph
Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited
Possession of banned items may result in an Unfair Means (UFM) case
Fresh admit cards may be issued after the revised date sheet is announced
