Delhi Govt Announces To Give Free Education To Orphans
The Delhi State Government has directed all schools to provide free education to the orphans who have lost their parents during COVID-19 pandemic. According to details, the Directorate of Education, Delhi has also issued an official notification in this regard. In the order, govt advises private schools to run on DDA or land allotted by government. students may be adjusted to the same school and if the schools are run on DDA or on government allotted land under freeship with the approval of competent authority without any draw of the lot such students are to be treated as a student studying under Economically Weaker Section Disadvantaged Group category and reimbursement may be paid by the Directorate of Education. According to the order after class 8 the students may be given admission to any government school.
