The Directorate of Education Delhi has officially announced the Delhi Class 9 and 11 Result 2026 today, March 30. Students enrolled in Delhi government and aided schools can now access their annual examination results through the dedicated student module. This declaration is a significant milestone, as it determines the eligibility of students to enter the board-bound classes of 10 and 12 for the 2026-27 academic session.

Step by Step Guide to Check Delhi School Results

To ensure a seamless experience and manage the high volume of web traffic, the DoE Delhi has activated the result links on its primary servers. Students are advised to have their Student ID and date of birth ready before logging in.

Follow these instructions to download the provisional marksheet:

Visit the official portal at edudel.nic.in or the direct student link at edustud.nic.in.

Navigate to the 'School Report Card' or Result 2025-26 tab on the homepage.

Select your respective Class (9 or 11) and Section from the dropdown menu.

Enter your unique 11 digit Student ID and Date of Birth in the specified format.

Input the visual Captcha code and click 'Submit' to view your performance.

Understanding the Promotion Policy and Grace Marks

The Delhi government schools follow a specific promotion policy designed by the DoE to ensure academic stability. For Class 9 and Class 11, students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each of the five main subjects to be promoted.

Internal Assessment: Performance in mid-term exams and projects accounts for a significant portion of the final score.

Grace Marks: In certain cases, the board may award a maximum of 15 grace marks across subjects to help students reach the qualifying threshold.

Compartment Exams: Students who fail to clear one or two subjects will be eligible for the DoE Compartment Examination, which is tentatively scheduled for the third week of April 2026.

Next Steps for Students and Parents

While the online scorecard provides immediate clarity, it is considered a provisional document. The official physical report cards will be distributed during a formal Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) scheduled at respective schools in early April.

For students promoted to Class 10 and 12, the new academic session begins on April 1, 2026. It is highly recommended that students begin their board exam preparation early, focusing on the core syllabus and previous year question papers. Parents should verify all details on the digital marksheet, including the spelling of names and father’s details, to avoid discrepancies in future board registrations.

The Directorate of Education has also set up a helpdesk for students who encounter technical issues while accessing the edustud.nic.in portal. Ensure you save a PDF copy of your result for immediate use in school re-admissions.
