The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has officially announced the results for the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026 today, March 4, 2026. This announcement brings an end to the wait for thousands of design aspirants seeking admission to Master of Design (M.Des) and Ph.D. programs at premier institutes like IITs and IISc. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can now access their qualifying status by visiting the official portal at ceed.iitb.ac.in.

To check the results, candidates must log in using their registered email ID and password. While the portal currently displays the qualifying status and marks, the official CEED 2026 scorecard will be available for download starting March 10, 2026. It is important to note that the scorecard will remain available for download until July 31, 2026. This document is crucial for the counseling and admission process, as it contains the candidate’s name, roll number, category-wise marks, and All India Rank (AIR).

The CEED 2026 exam is a high-stakes test divided into two parts: Part A, which tests visualization and spatial ability, and Part B, which evaluates drawing and design problem-solving skills. Only those who clear Part A have their Part B answer sheets evaluated. With the results now live, successful candidates should begin preparing their portfolios for the next stages of the admission process, which often include interviews and studio tests at individual institutes. Candidates are advised to download and print multiple copies of their scorecards once they become available next week to ensure a smooth transition into the 2026 academic session.
