CAT 2025 Exam: Must-Carry Checklist for Exam Day!
The CAT 2025 exam is coming soon! IIM Kozhikode holds the exam on November 30, 2025. You must know exactly what to carry to the test center. Simple mistakes on exam day can cost you your seat. Prepare your documents now and beat the stress.
Essential Documents You Must Carry
Entry to the CAT center is only possible with these items. Check the list twice; everything must match your application.
CAT Admit Card: Print a clear copy on an A4 sheet. You must affix your passport-size photo on it. Do not sign the card before you reach the center. The invigilator must see you sign it.
Valid Photo ID Proof: Bring the original card. The name on the ID must match your Admit Card exactly. Valid IDs are:
Aadhaar Card
PAN Card
Voter ID
Passport
Driving License
Passport-size Photograph: Carry at least two extra copies. They must be the same photo you used for your CAT registration.
Allowed Items and PwD Checklist
You can also take a few simple items inside. Comfort and compliance matter most.
Carry a transparent water bottle. Stay hydrated!
Use only a transparent blue or black ballpoint pen. The center provides paper for rough work.
PwD Candidates: You also need your Medical Certificate and PwD Certificate. If you use a scribe, bring the Scribe Affidavit form.
Items You Must Not Carry
The rules are very strict. Do not bring any prohibited items to the CAT exam hall. Security will not let you take them in.
- Electronic Devices: Leave your mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators at home. No headphones or cameras either.
- Bags and Accessories: Wallets, purses, bags, books, and notes are not allowed.
- Jewelry: Avoid all jewelry and accessories. Do not wear excessive clothing or footwear. Keep your focus entirely on the management exam.
