The Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) application form has been released by the authorities. Candidates can register for the test on the official website, dte.assam.gov.in, until May 5, 2023, 5:00 pm. Only online mode will be accepted for the registration process.

The PAT exam 2023 will be held on either June 11, 18, or 25, 2023 (the final date will be announced soon). The test is conducted for admission into a 3-year diploma in engineering and technology courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against the seat allotted by the Govt. of India) for the session 2023-24. Permanent residents of Assam (except for Central Govt. Employees quota) are eligible to appear in the admission test.

• Must have passed the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in a single sitting.
