AIIMS MAT February 2026 Registration Open Exam Dates Announced

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has officially announced the dates for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2026 February Session. Registration for this national-level MBA entrance exam is now open. Interested candidates must apply online immediately to secure their spot for either the Paper-Based Test (PBT) or the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
MAT offers a flexible pathway into over 800 management institutes across India. Aspirants must visit the official website, mat.aima.in, to register.
MAT February 2026 Exam Schedule
AIMA conducts the MAT exam four times a year. The February 2026 session will be offered in two modes to accommodate candidate preference: PBT and CBT. Steps to Complete the Application
Visit the Official Portal: Go to the AIMA MAT website: mat.aima.in.
Register: Click the 'Register' link and enter your name, email ID, and mobile number. You will receive an OTP for verification.
Fill the Form: Log in using your credentials. Fill in all personal, academic, and contact details accurately.
Select Test Mode and Cities: Choose your preferred test mode (PBT or CBT) and two test city preferences.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in the specified size limit.
Pay Application Fee: Submit the required fee online to finalize the application. Download and print the confirmation page for your records.

The application fee is non-refundable and varies if the candidate chooses to appear in multiple test modes.

Exam Pattern and Eligibility Overview

MAT 2026 Exam Structure
The examination is a Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) format test. The marking scheme provides math bf+1 mark for every correct answer and deducts math bf 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
Eligibility Criteria
Any candidate who meets the following criteria can appear for the MAT exam:
Graduation: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of their undergraduate program are also eligible to apply.
No Age Limit: There is no upper age restriction to appear for the MAT.
Work Experience: Work experience is not mandatory for the examination.
